TOWN WIN TIGHT GAME AGAINST BEDFORD
Amersham Town secured only their second home league win of the season against Bedford thanks to two well taken goals by Thomas Littleboy. His first, a thumping shot from the edge of the penalty area heralded the start of a purple patch for the home side. With full backs Hadleigh De Vall and Joe Mistretta pushing forward to add to the attacks, chances were created but not converted. Twice the woodwork prevented Amersham extending their lead which allowed Bedford to equalise three minutes before the break. Following a strong run down the left by ex- Town player Max Marsh his low gross as no dealt with and Brandon Graham slotted home. In an even second half, with chances missed by both sides and with weather conditions deteriorating, it was Amersham who achieved the breakthrough following a mazy run and left foot shot from Littleboy. An improved performance from Town against a good Bedford side.
