Amersham Town FC is seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to take on the role of First Team Manager ahead of the upcoming season. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead a well-established club competing at Step 5 of the National League System, with aspirations of continued progression both on and off the pitch.

The successful candidate will be a strong man-manager and excellent communicator, capable of inspiring players and fostering a positive, professional team culture. A sound knowledge of the local and regional player landscape is essential, as is a proven track record of success—either as a manager, coach, or player.

The manager will be expected to work closely with the Director of Football, Chairman, and occasionally the Club’s Executive Committee, contributing to the club’s wider football strategy while ensuring alignment with its long-term vision. A key part of the role will involve operating effectively within a set budget, to be agreed prior to the season.

Applicants should be based within reasonable travelling distance of Amersham and be available for midweek training sessions and matchdays.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful community-oriented club with strong values and a clear ambition to progress. If you believe you have the passion, experience, and leadership qualities required, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your football CV and a short cover letter by Wednesday 14th May to:

Paul Serkis – Chairman – paul.serkis24@icloud.com

Peter Nelson – Director of Football– nelsonpj@btinternet.com
