Town go out of FA Cup in blaze of glory!

Amersham Town, one of only three teams from step 5, went out of the FA Cup to Taunton Town in a blaze of glory!

Although losing two one, Amersham gained plenty of friends at Taunton, a team two divisions above them in the football pyramid. They took the lead in the fourteenth minute but were undone by two second half goals. As they left the field at the final whistle the crowd, Taunton’s largest of the season, gave them a spontaneous round of applause.
